Our morning will be entirely dedicated to the glorious excavations of Ancient Ostia, the main sea & river port of Ancient Roman Empire which, due to its status of preservation, rivals with Pompeii. Great Fresco Walls, superb mosaics, outstanding Roman architectures: Ancient Ostia is the best place near Rome to appreciate how the old Romans where living.

In the afternoon our Rome cruise tour will be spent in the visit of two classical icons of the Religious Rome: the Rome Catacombs with the Old Appian Way, burial place of the early Christians and the second main Basilica in Rome, St. Paul's Outside the Walls, where the Apostle is resting in Peace.

Our driver will pick you up at Rome Port (Civitavecchia pier) on early morning and will lead to Rome where you will meet your assigned private English speaking guide. No other people in the tour, your guide will be just for your private party or group. This is a private Rome shore tour !

You will have your private English tourist guide for appx. 8-9 hours of full day guided tour, and appx. 11 hours our private driver. At 04:45 pm appx. (pending on your ship departure), you will go back to the Rome pier with the driver only.
